"...We ask you to help us work for that day when black will not be asked to get back, when brown can stick around, when yellow will be mellow, when the red man can get ahead, man, and when white will embrace what is right."

Pity party
Just thought I'd update quickly to let everyone know I'm still alive, though not as lively as I'd like to be. I've been feeling a little under the weather since the day I left Green Bay, then I puked on the airplane (too much information I'm sure), and have been feeling so-so ever since.
But this is not why I'm writing this blog.
To all of you in Wisconsin, I can't say I feel your pain. My weather forecast for the upcoming week is not like yours. We have highs between 42 and 50, and snow nowhere in sight. I'm sorry to say, but Wisconsin is ridiculous. What kind of a crazy place hits both -40 degrees (with wind chill of course) and 85 degrees in a matter of 5 or 6 months. Here it is unheard of! I must say, I like being somewhere a bit more temperate where I can, in fact, leave my apartment for ten minues without having to fear frostbite.
